Dragon Age Origins Walkthrough

Once you find the object give it to Morrigan and you will receive this quest.

When you visit the camp later, Morrigan will explain what has to be done. Go to her Flemeth’s hut and kill her. Remember that Morrigan cannot be in your party when you proceed with this mission.

Attacking her too early doesn’t make sense. She turns into a dragon sobe prepared for a lot of heat. Make sure you have enough fire resistance.

   just keep healing or have another mage in ur crew and have them as a healer

   You can actually avoid fighting her. She will offer you the grimoire with out a fight, and so far this didn’t have any consequence. Morrigan will still love you for it.

   True, but avoid fighting a dragon? Why would someone want to do that?

   The fight is not hard if you have a ranged party. When she attacks you, she goes up a little hill, if you keep all you party members down it, the right side, she may only attack you with something like fireball. You can place every party member at a safe distance the hit her with cold arrows, spells (DoT) and eventually cure yourself if you got hit (asap maybe ).

   Her “pull” attack won’t work as you’ll be dragged at the bottom of the hill and not upside so you can get up and go back to your position without being further hit.

   Just have one of your tank classes fight her on the hill and have everyone else stay ranged. It is good to bring Wynn along and have your other characters use bows (make sure you take out any of their melee attacks out of their tactics as it puts them in by default even under archer). If you are a mage just stay up top and run in and use cone of cold on her every time it comes up.

   I think I will do as Danski said, and take the grimiore without the fight. As long as it doesn’t come back to bite me/Morrigan in the butt later on, I think this is a nice neutral path for my character. I wasn’t too crazy about killing Flemeth in the first place…she is a funny old woman

    dont forget every time u kill a dragon u can go to wade in wades emporium in denerim and get him to make u some pretty awesome armor

    You have to find the fake gromiore (Circle tower i think) and give it to morigan.
    She will study it. Come back later and she tell you what you need to do. If you go back to the hut before this conversation, Flemeth will not be there.

    what weapons should i use i have leliana who i made bowswomen allistar sword and shield main character greatsword
    sten dual weapon and zevran dual weapon i need ideas and i need a dragon bone helmet where would i get one

    I had as follows (and it worked very well):
    Alistair: sword and shield
    Sten: Two handed
    Leliana: Bow (backup two daggers, though used them very rarely)
    Zevran: Dual Weapons.
    Wynn: Dedicated healer

    They all had poitns going towards these so i just kept it going. I used, Wynn, Sten/Alistair and Leliana (for opening chests) worked very well for me

    I was thrilled at this mission at first…. ‘Go to woods and murder an old chick.’… sounded like a blast… then she turned into a huge dragon and ate my party…. T_T

    You find ohgren in orzamar (sp) the dwarfen underground city. Once you are
    pretty much done with the sidequests and are ready to travel the Deep Road he shows up to join you as he is looking for Branka.
