You have been capture by the guards while trying to rescue the Queen. Figure out a way to get out of the dungeon.
One of the options is to pretend to be sick and call the guard. You can also persuade the guard to keep you company in the cell if you have a female character. Kill him, retrieve your items from a chest and go to Regulars’ Armory to put on guards clothes.
To leave the jail you have to know a password.
When you visit Colonel in his office he will think that you are one of his new recruits and you will receive an assignment. Go to the Storage Room and talk to the guards. If you don’t have enough skills to persuade them you will have to fight your way out of there (or steal the List of Passwords from one of the guards).
Your party members will join you before leaving this area.

It is appear that all of my inventory lost after I left the jail. Can I take it back? How?

The guard with the list of passwords is one of the two new recruits in the storage room to the right of the colonel’s office (end of the hall). If you are in disguise, they will tell you they had their swords taken away and you have to help them get them back. Then you just waltz out of the place in their company … ditching them, I assume, in the allies of Denerim.

Mmkay, if you are trying to gain rep with Alistair, leave him out of your party before heading off to rescue the queen. If he is in party at the time, he will be caught too. When you get captured and tossed in a cell, you have the option of choosing someone to come rescue you. Choose him and one other.
Alistair seems to have a “rescue the damsel in distress” complex. Having him save you gains 4 rep.
Dunno if this works on male toons, only played through as a female.
I think theres a glitch in my game because I have Wynne and Morrigan coming to get me and Alistair. Ive made it thru all of the dungeon but cant interact with my character all it has is that arrow above her head. Am I doing something wrong? And theres also no way for those two to leave the dungeon now so Im stuck there.
