if u have located all the markers and examined them, location of the stash wud show up on the map automatically. i think theres still 1 last marker that u didnt not examine which i almost missed. its at the north west end of the map near the place u collected the chasind note.

The landmarks you mentioned are places for the Dog to mark his territory. A marked territory provides modest bonuses to Dog and the Warden while in those areas.

The Chasind Cache contains a few notable items:

Chasind Robes (mage robes with +6 DEF)
A Chasind Maul (with -ATK but a bonus I can't recall)
Some poultices and gold, I think.

There's more, but the Robes are easily the best item there, and the best mage robes you'll find for a while, especially if you find yourself in the thick of combat often. They're pretty similar to wearing Cured Studded Leather on your caster with no fatigue penalty.

Those landmarks later aren't useless. Use your warhound to interact with them; at least one will give you a codex entry called "Mabari Dominance". There might be more rewards for getting them all.

There's also a quest that you can unlock, concerning Chasind.

You find a note at Rigby's ? Jogby's ? camp in the west of the map. Go in your journal, look for the new entry in the codex, it talks about Chasind markers.

Open your map, go onto the cross, and press tab (otherwise, you will do like me, and search for two hours :p) to see a text line saying "Chasind marker". Move your mouse pointer around until you can interact (right click) with it. Open your map again, go to the next marker, and so on.

It leads you to a cache with a nice reward (5-6 items, I don't remember. Later on in the game, you can find other landmarks. One in the docks (useless), one int Lothering (useless as well), but there might be others around.
