Dragon Age Origins Walkthrough

Filda (Orzammar Commons) gives you this quest: Find Ruck, Filda’s son.

You will find him in Ortan Tahaig (Orzammar). Chase him down the tunnel. Convince him to open his store for you.

Return to Filda and get your reward: Ruck’s Shield (+10% spirit resistance, +4 attack).

   i really need to know where is entrance to ortan tahaig?

   go to the entrence were the 3 guards are guarding and a guy should talk to you before you get to them letting you get to the entrance

   there is no guard… u can access ortan tahaign from caradin cross..:).

   ruck is actually a descent trader. does telling his mother affect anything to do with ruck later in the game?

   What I did was; accept and help the mother, find Ruck, leave him there, find mother and tell her son is still alive but crazy.

   She thanks you and if you talk to her about getting a reward, she’ll reward you with Ruck’s Shield…

   and then you can keep him there as a trader.

   SO, quest completed, you get a shield, and you get Ruck as a trader, and mother is happy although she does reaapear on the ground praying again…didnt talk to her after I saw her lol

   cant find Filda.

   I never spoke to her before finding is son. I let the boy live and can trade with him.

   I have the quest in my journal to find filda but she isnt anywhere in orzammar commons

   any help would be apretiated.

   Filda is located around the Tapster tavern. You see her kneeling and praying before a statue next to the pond.
   I let Ruck live, but followed his wishes to tell his mother that he was dead (cuz he didn’t want her to know that he was nuts). She still gave me Ruck’s Shield.
   You should leave Ruck alive – he sells Deep Mushrooms at the cheapest price. Great for making potions on the cheap!
