Dragon Age Origins Walkthrough

When you deliver the first of  the Blight quests (in my case it was The Broken Circle) you will be attacked by a bgoup of assasins with Zevran as a leader. It might be challenging.

Before you approach the enemies cast all the defensive and offensive magic you can, including area magic (earthquake etc.). After you talk to them lead your party to the right and try to stay behind the big rock. This way you will be partially covered from the incoming arrows and spells. Kill Zevran first, then deal with his guards, assasins and mages.

While you kill them all (but Zevran, he is only wounded) Zevran will offer to join your party.

   I was wondering is there any other way to get assassin spec without zevran? Yeah sure call me stupid lol, i didn’t let him join my party and i killed him instead. :S

   You can find manuals to the different classes through out the game at black smiths and other shops. They are a little pricey but worth it. And don’t worry about not letting that elven bastard join you. In denerim, he betrays you and tries to kill you again when a friend of his shows up. After you beat them, he is dead any way.

   I let him join my group and when his friend showed up, Zevran stayed on my side. I guess it depends on how much he likes you.
